A fan peeled a potato at Liam Gallagher's gig last night to make fun of Noel Gallagher's scissors player

Will there ever be a day without some Oasis-related drama?

LAST WEEK, A pretty ridiculous video of Noel Gallagher’s live performance on Later with Jools Holland showed a member of his band playing the scissors.

We wouldn’t be half as angry about this if there was an audible “snip… snip… snip…” in the song, but there actually isn’t. No offence to the scissors player, but it didn’t add much to the song.

As usual, Liam was eager to berate Noel Gallagher.

He began to consider things that he could do at his own gigs. From sharpening pencils to putting stickers in a sticker book with a load of reverb, Liam was enjoying ripping the piss out of his brother.

It’s like, it’s all right if you’re twenty and off your head on mushrooms and that, but the guy’s 50 now man, you know what I mean? And if he really is trying to convince people that playing a scissors is the right way to go about business, he needs to have a big, long lie down man.

The mockery didn’t end there.

Last night Liam made a call to arms on Twitter.

His fans were up for it and had their potato peelers at the ready.

One fan actually went ahead and peeled a potato in the crowd.

Unfortunately Liam didn’t appear to notice it in this clip:

Should we be concerned that people can sneak potatoes and peelers into concerts? Maybe the Bethnal Green venue should install metal detectors in case anyone tries to bring any other cooking utensils in there.

Liam’s definitely going to be sorry he ever asked for this, because fans are going to be peeling potatoes at his concerts for the rest of his career.
